February:
- Florida State Fair Booth
- Polk County Youth Fair - The month of the fair has changed for the first
time in years, due to a conflict with the FCAT testing. Most children are
given a week excused absence from school to attend the Youth Fair. But
the FCAT tests will not be an excusable absence. The PCYF will be
Feb.23 - 28. Steer weigh in will be Feb. 23 on Saturday morning 8:00 AM
- 11 AM. PCCW will have volunteers handing out T-Shirts to steer
exhibitors and will work the add-on tables during each sale. If you have
volunteered in previous years and can do so again, please contact an PCCW
officers or plan to attend the PCCW meeting in February. More volunteers
are needed.
March:
- Trade Show - PCCA will have their 3rd annual Trade Show on March 8,
Saturday. In addition to the activities of the Trade Show they will have a
Ranch Rodeo at 1:00 PM. Teams sponsored by local cattle ranches in Polk
County will vie for top cow hand honors.For further information on
